Gornyy Priyut "Zakan"

Definitely one of a kind place not only in Russia but in the world. They call it ecological mountain shelter, but in fact what you can get is a beautiful mountain valley for individual use, if you come in a group of 20 - maximum capacity of the village’s 4 wooden houses. There’re number of 1 day - 2 day trekking trips available to see spectacular mountains, mineral springs, lakes and waterfalls. Almost anything can be arranged with some time in advance. Although it will take you 5 to 7 hours by car to get there from airport, 3-4h of which is total off-road uphill, you’ll know it’s worth every minute of patience. No mobile network coverage nor internet is another unique detail of the place, vital for quality rest and clearing up your mind. Back asap.. Thanks Zakan!

Nice, cozy place. Stunning views. Far from civilization. Very nice staff. You can relax with pets. Nearby is a mountain river. There is no connection, the cleanest air and water.
