On the international memorial burial in Baltiysk the remains of more than 13.5 thousand people are buried. 7452 buried - the Germans, soldiers of the Wehrmacht and civilians who died in the first months of 1945, including 123 passengers of the liner "Wilhelm Gustlof". 6048 buried - prisoners of Forstayl Stalag, including Austrians - 128, Arabs - 1, Belarusians - 3, Belgians - 4, Hungarians - 7, Dutch - 7, US citizens - 1, Danes - 1, Spanish, 1, Italians - 6, Latvians - 4, Lithuanians - 2, Norwegians - 2, Poles - 57, Romanians - 6, Russians (citizens of the USSR) - 5734, Ukrainians - 6, French - 38, Czechs - 19, Chileans - 1, Swiss - 5 , Estonians - 3, Yugoslavs - 2. According to German archival data, more than 3,500 dead are identified, their names are immortalized on the plates. Since 1997, the remains of 1,300 people discovered in the territory of Baltiysk have been buried in the cemetery. Cemetery restoration works began in the 1990s. From the entrance there is a gravel path, along which there are 8 stone memorial slabs with the names of those buried. In the northwestern part of the international cemetery, on the top of a gentle hill, three crosses, Orthodox and two Latin, are raised on the ground of boulders, 8 memorial plates with the names of those buried are vertically installed to the left, 5 plates to the right. Across the territory of the cemetery, three concrete crosses are set up. The territory of the burial with an area of ​​2.3 hectares has been landscaped and enclosed with a metal fence.
