Great station!

The station is next to the Luzhniki sports complex. Nicely decorated. Two exits - to the south, to the stadium, and to the north, to the Devichye Pole area. There is a transfer across the street to the MCC. Nearby, in addition to the sports complex, the Novodevichy Convent, beautiful river embankments

The station got its name from the nearby Luzhniki sports complex (the former Central Lenin Stadium). Just in case, there’s a whole constellation of worthy attractive places in the capital: the Novodevichy Convent, the People’s Museum of Moscow Metro Roritene, the State Archive, Youth Palace, State Central Concert Hall "Russia", Vorobyovy Gory, Gymnastics Palace of Irina Viner-Usmanova ... By the way, "Sportivnaya", in 1991 and 1992, they wanted to rename into "Luzhniki". The 43rd in the Moscow metro looks even very pretty (glazed ceramic tiles, white, black and green marble, an ornament on the floor made of black, gray and red granite slabs, crystal chandeliers ...). For the 2018 FIFA World Cup, it was remodeled a bit.

From the train station, this station is just plain, but always beware of hooligans pouring from nearby football fields. The game is often very violent and requires attention.
