The appeal is when a first-instance judgment is issued against a defendant in a case, to request that the judgment be reconsidered when he does not like him, which is called an appeal, and this is done before the Court of Appeal as it establishes, annuls, or increases the primary judgment, while the Supreme Court is empowered to it That the rulings be revoked and their ruling is final and not revoked or rejected. The appeal is a normal way of appeal, whereby the litigant who issued the judgment, in whole or in part, to its disadvantage, submits the whole case or part of it before a higher court than the one that issued the judgment, which is the Court of Appeal. Hence, the place of appeal is not a “first-degree verdict” but “the same case” that was examined by a first-degree judge. As for the defects in the appealed judgment, whether related to its fairness or validity, they will face the appeal indirectly.
