The Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration is a non-profit establishment established by the Council of Ministers Resolution No. (257) dated 14/6/1435 H, headquartered in Riyadh. It has a branch in King Abdullah Economic City to oversee the arbitration proceedings in the relevant commercial and civil disputes The parties to arbitrate arbitrarily with the Center, in accordance with the provisions of the established regulations and judicial principles of commercial and civil stable. The Center has no jurisdiction over disputes concerning personal status cases and administrative and criminal matters, and may not be settled. The Center has an independent board of directors formed by a decision of the Council of Chambers of Commerce in coordination with the Standing Committee of Arbitration Centers, provided that the members of the Council shall not occupy any office or government post. The Council shall supervise the work and affairs of the Center. The Center offers alternative dispute resolution services (arbitration, mediation) in accordance with international professional standards in Arabic and English. The Center also equipped the latest technical means used in the field of dispute resolution to ensure the speed and effectiveness in resolving disputes. He also trained the Center's staff at the most prestigious international arbitration centers (International Center for Settlement of Disputes - American Arbitration Association) to ensure that its services are in accordance with international best practices.
