Beautiful but closed. They don't give it more attention. They need to organize it, open, and prepare it for visitors.

The Hejaz Railway Station Museum is an archaeological museum in Medina. The museum was established in the month of Rajab of the year 1419 AH and is located in Bab Al-Anbariya Square in the building of the Ottoman train station (known locally as the Astion) overlooking Omar bin Al-Khattab Street. To Mecca because they believed that it was losing them, transporting pilgrims with camels, so the governor was obliged to announce that the railroads would not go beyond Medina, thus becoming the last station on the railway. The arrival of the first train from Damascus to the station was celebrated on 22 Rajab 1326 AH corresponding to 28 August 1908 AD and the trains continued to reach the station until 1921AD.

Great museum with history of Medina and Saudi era. There are signs in Arabic as well as English explaining the exhibits. Be prepared to take lots of photos as the history showcased here is quite rare and not easy to find elsewhere. Entry is free so no need to buy any tickets and a relatively quiet place in the afternoon. Great for family visit. The screens and digital media wasn't working the time we went though, so we weren't able to see any videos, otherwise it was an amazing experience.

May be it was a good place before but now it is deserted place and closed,there was no system of cleanliness and the adjacent park was barren.

Alright place. Not as grand as I got used to the things. Maybe under construction Assalam Museum would satisfy the standards of Al Medina
