Layback Hostel

Layback is awesome. The staff are incredibly helpfull and friendly. The warmth and hospitality recieved from the staff creates an atmosphere that feels like a home away from home. The location is excellent, short walk to food and the beach. Yoga is offered twice a day on the rooftop terrace. There is a spacious kitchen to store and cook your own eats. Big family dinners organized by the hostel on occasion. If you are coming to Weligama, stay here. The only regret you may have is checking out. Or deciding to stay somewhere else. But that would be silly. This place really is that good. Big shoutout to everyone at Layback. Will be back soon:)

Clean hostel with just a few things missing to make it a great hostel. There are many hammocks and there is a kitchen we can use equipped with all the basics. We were very satisfied with the price we paid.

Good location, very close to the coast. Easy going place with no worries, is cleaned every day and well kept!

Nice relaxing atmosphere. Close to the beach and the center, but really quiet. Nice people and good prices

Great hostal. Good kitchen, clean rooms, good vibes. Outside the main part of town so its not blaring music till 2am. Its $8 per night for a dorm, not $7 as it states on their website.
