Great experience! Only thing let us down was the time waiting around waiting for the ship and then waiting around stationary on the boat. This may be because it was off season so they were waiting for it to fill up.
The bandana, pictures are additional cost. And they ask for tips at the end. We were happy to pay as we thought the excursion itself was a bargain. Trip is essentially a party boat with Music, acrobatics, games, tricks, and swimming in the sea.
For a break in your Holiday it's ok. When boarding the boat, unless you are some of the first on you will be forced to sit on the top deck, where there is very little shade. The boat itself I thought seemed quite crowded. Your trip is generally just a short sail up the coast, and you drop anchor off one of the resort beaches out in the sea. Here you can swim for about 40mins or so but you are not allowed to go far. Safety reasons obviously. Dinner is also served at this time, but we didn't have any, so can't comment on quality or what there was.
The animation team on board come around regularly trying to sell you either bandanas or a digital picture of yourself and them. They do a show towards the end, but as it was so busy we never got to really see any of it. They then come around expecting tips and being quite demanding with it. Be warned have some loose change.
Overall as a trip with younger children it might be more fun. I went with my teenage son, who really wasn't that fussed, and was expecting a better place to swim in then just off one of the beaches, that you might already be staying at.
Great excursion. Entertainment for everyone! And the opportunity to swim in the sea. My family had an amazing time. Definitely worth doing.
This trip was way way too crowded. There wasn't enough space for everyone to sit to watch the show and when I didn't have my hands up for the start of the show (I am disabled and needed to balance) I got shouted at with no warning and he was off before I could explain. Once they realised they were a bit more accomodating but not much. We also set off about an hour late with no explanation. If you do go bring snacks as it's very expensive on board. We didn't watch the second half of the show preferring to enjoy the view from the bottom deck. The boat itself was impressive so they get an extra star for that. My daughter loved going on a real pirate ship. If you don't have enthusiastic kids I would say avoid!
What a beautiful entertainment. Very nice experience specially brave stunt done by a crew member. Whole family enjoyed it
