As the Mediterranean laps the coast line, some of the ruins are exposed on the shore. The remainder are fairly well preserved and it’s incredible to see how the layers of earth have built up after hundreds of years. Not a huge amount to explore but a lovely place close to other attractions

Archeaological site in Carthage, Tunis is well preserved. Take your time to appreciate the ancient city of Carthage.

I love this place because it has a lot of arquelogy. Ancient times from Roman empire

The Magon district: located by the sea, a short distance south of the famous Antonine thermal baths, the land was the last to have escaped urbanization. The excavations carried out there have brought to light the only visible part of the ramparts of Carthage, dating from the end of the 6th or the beginning of the 5th century BC, with its foundation blocks, only one of which weighs more than 13 tonnes, as well as the traces of a postern next to the first bastion and the casemates added in the 4th century BC.
