It's just a few ramainibg Roman columns. It appears that the Muslims during their control of the area destroyed, removed, reutilized the building materials left by previous generations. The once vast city of Carthage was destroyed.
The beauty is that no one comes to this site any more so you have the experience to yourself which is pretty incredible, especially at sunset. I scaled the dirt wall from the road to get here but if I had checked more carefully, there is a side road with a little gate to access the area
No one looks after this place anymore. Just a couple of columns are left, but if you look carefully you could see some mosaics still under the floor
Historical place, you will never regret from visiting here
