At arrival and after a very long time waiting for my luggage, I discovered that one of my suitcases has been forced and one of the locks broken open with its piece of metal still on the code lock. Beware of theft at Sfax airport. On top of that the airport staff are not welcoming at all, cold and arrogant and can not help you. Just on my way back, only the lady at the check in was nice and if you are priority check in or priority boarding forget about it, they don’t even bother to call or do any of this.
I don’t advise Sfax airport, land in Mestir if you want to be closer to southern Tunisia or Tunis airport if you like to road trips. I hope Tozeur airport can work again for southern cities, it was much better and safer.
