On the way from Ayvalık to garlic you will see a small village. Old stone houses have been repaired and turned into places like hotels, cafes and art houses. Artura is one of them. The coffee and cakes are lovely. You can also have a cool lemonade under a big tree.

Artura Gallery is in the middle of Küçükköy. Its new name is Little village. Deletion history. A long history. There is a settled carelessness while giving new names to historical places. Illallah ... A very interesting town shaped by the Ottoman conquest of the Aegean islands: Yeniçarohori. Even its name sticks around like a talisman at the first pronunciation. It's like a password waiting to be deciphered. Each stone of the Yeniçarohori has an intimate empire story.
