Anyone who hasn't heard of the Iznik Tile? Historical Iznik Tile Furnaces are the place where Iznik Tiles, which decorate the surrounding architectural works, were made between the 14th and 17th centuries. Today, this area is an excavation area with furnaces that are unearthed through regular excavations every year. Entrance to the excavation area is forbidden, but you can look through the wire fences. For those who come to visit the region, we can access information such as where is the pavement and which area is a water well with information signs placed in various parts of the excavation area. II. Remains of tile furnaces located to the east of Murad Bath were discovered in the 1960s after being buried for centuries. We could see the tiles and ceramics extracted from here in the Iznik Museum. Next to the excavation area II. You can also see the Murad Bath. The other name of the bath is Historical Hacı Hamza Hamam. The bath is still actively used today.

Studies need to speed up. Weeds need to be cleaned. It should be opened to visitors as soon as possible.

Since the foundation of the Ottoman state, Iznik has been famous for its tiles. After 30 years of excavations, Iznik tiles were introduced to the whole world. Tile furnaces found to belong to the 14th and 17th centuries were unearthed in these excavations. Located in the center of Iznik, this area is exhibited with its surroundings covered. I can say that the inside is a bit dirty and unfortunately not well maintained.
