Han-el Ba'rur Caravanserai It is a caravanserai belonging to the Ayyubiler period (566-866 / 1171-1462) and is partially in ruins. The inn is located on the route of Harran - Ceylanpınar (Re'sü'l-ayn) - Nusaybin - Mosul - TikritSamarra - Baghdad in the mountainous region known as the Tektek Mountains. The inn is made of cut stone and has a square plan of 65.00 x 66.00 = 4290 m². From a monumental portal on the north facade, a rib-vaulted entrance iwan is accessed, and from there a nearly square courtyard measuring 43.30 x 44.80 meters is entered. There is a mosque to the right of the entrance iwan and the room of the inn's guards to the left. The flat roof that covers the inn is reached by the stairs behind the south wall of the mosque. The inn surrounding the courtyard has all the characteristics of Anatolian Seljuk caravanserais with its entrance gate, corner towers, buttress towers, mosque, bath, summer and winter spaces.

Hanelbarur has a very important place in terms of history, but it should be evaluated in terms of tourism, it should turn into a place where tourists can eat, eat, rest, of course, if I said to turn into a place without damaging its historical value, I veysi Taşdelen house, if you fall too close to the historical artifact, you will say that I am now on these photographs after the restoration. In fact, when it was first built, the stones were white, too, as a result of the dust rain storm and if you fall in such a brown earth color, I wait 😊😊

Harran's 27 km. Han El-Ba'rur, located in Göktaş Village to the southeast, is dated to the Ayyubiler period. The caravanserai located on the Harran-Baghdad road route in the mountainous region known as the Tektek Mountains; It consists of a masjid, guard room, stables, Turkish bath and summer rooms. The structure has all the characteristics of Anatolian Seljuk caravanserais. The caravanserai, which surrounds an almost square courtyard of 43.30x44.80 meters, has two inscriptions, one in the north and the other in the west. According to the inscription on the entrance door; The caravanserai was built by the son of Isa al-Hac Hüsameddin Ali Bey in 1128-1129. The word "Ba'rur", which is the name of the inn. It means "goat manure" in Arabic. According to the rumor, the person who built the inn filled it with raisins and offered it to guests passing by or staying in the caravanserai. Looking to the future "Those who come after me will fill this place with goat manure." he said. The building was devastated after the Mongolian invasion and was used as a barn by locals for many years. Indeed, filling it with goat manure is thought-provoking and also meaningful.

Han el-Ba'rur Caravanserai Harran is 20 km. The place where this caravanserai is located in the east is known as Göktaş Village today. In the portal inscription on the north facade of the caravanserai, which was built on an area of 65x66 square meters, h. It is written that it was built by al-Hajj Husameddin Ali Bey in 626 (1228-1229). The caravanserai, entrance gate, corner towers, buttress towers, masjid (restored and opened in 1993), Turkish bath, summer and winter sections, and all the characteristics of Anatolian Seljuk caravanserais, are located on the mountainous region called Tektek Mountains. The word "Ba'rur", which is the name of this caravanserai, means "goat droppings" in Arabic. According to the rumor, the person who built the inn filled it with raisins and said, "Those who come after me will fill this place with goat droppings." he said. Indeed, today the caravanserai has been filled with animal manure since it has been used as a barn for many years.
