The rocks where Ortahisar Castle, surrounded by steep valleys on three sides, are carved by Etiler for the purpose of protection and asylum in ancient times when wars were abundant. If your path falls to Cappadocia (Land of Beautiful Horses), it is a must-see.

Places to see. Stairs leading to the castle is not very healthy to be seen as an exitable castle. If you have come to town with your car it may be difficult to find parking place but does not prevent to visit :)
