The rock paintings are made up of human figures, various symbols and animal shapes drawn on the steep cliffs in the Gevrek Valley of the Cilo, Sat Mountains. Many similar rock paintings were found in Tirşin plateau. It contains clues about the period. These rare artifacts, which emerged in 1938, are thought to have a history of 7500 years, but according to another view, it may also date back to several hundred years. The fact that there are pictures of wild sheep and goats among the paintings has made the idea that the prehistoric communities survive with hunting and gathering stories are made on rocks by narrating the pictures of the animals.
