City / city museum of Tokat Municipality. Sulusokak, where we can see 900 years of works in 900 steps; directly opposite the Tokat Museum. There is even Deveciler Inn, Takkeciler Mosque and Ulu Mosque. Admission is free. Opened in February 2019. The building is a bit old, 10-year 3-storey building. But very nicely arranged. Working hours are from 08:30 to 17:00. The archives of Tokat, which was conquered in 1073, are here for the last 500 years. (The old ones are right next to the other museum.) The basement of the museum is a kind of Ottoman bazaar of Tokat. Urgancı, coppersmiths, registers etc. There are 12 (handicraft) shops. One of them is a hands-on workshop for children, especially for register and potter. The ground floor is equipped with Tokat's 100 years old paintings and boards. On the top floor, there are ethnographic elements of Tokat such as clothing, historical figures of Tokat and models of historical places in Tokat and its districts. A corner is reserved for mayors.
