The Roman Catholic Church of San Pasifico is located in the Mesrutiyet District, 350 meters south of the pier, at the intersection of Lala Hatun Street and Yeni Sokak. This is a large church built in Neo-Gothic style with a wooden roof. It was built between 1865 and 1866 by the Franciscans. Under the altar, there is a large painting by the Italian painter Giovanni Battista depicting San Pacifico and Saint Ignatius and Saint Sophia flying over the Islands. It is a very beautiful place, must be visited by history, island lovers. I visited again yesterday, it has a very nice atmosphere, I missed it very much.
