Hayvore

I lived near this place for several months in 2013, and I loved the food here. Black Sea Turkish cuisine has things that resemble US Southern Cuisine, believe it or not--use of cornbread, okra and cooked greens for example. Turkey is a great soup place, and this restaurant has nice ones. The stuffed breads (pide) are amazing--Turkish pizza! HIghly recommend this place.

I make an effort to come to Hayvore every time I pass by Istanbul, even when I stay on the Asian side! You’ll find seafood dishes here you won’t find in most restaurants in Istanbul. The cornbread is also tasty! Service was friendly, even when they’re busy. Best to come with a friend so you can share the dishes and try more items :)

Food are good please is clean .location is in city centre. No English language understand there.

We were rushed when choosing our food. None of the dishes was particularly amazing and the taste was very bland. I would personally not go again. There is better food for less money in Istanbul.
