Dikilitaş (Sesönk)

Sesönk (Dikilitaş) is 33 km from Besni district. southeast, on Kızıldağ, Commagene King II. Built by Mithridates, the mausoleum is surrounded by three pairs of columns, each about 10 meters high. There are female, male and lion reliefs on the columns.nngo see it. History is calling

Near the Hacıhalil and Dikilitaş villages, there is a Roman monumental mausoleum known as Dikilitaş on the Kızıldağı. There are three pairs of columns erected alongside the tomb structure. There is a rock carving cave which is believed to be a burial chamber under a monumental tomb composed of camel's spaces around this tumulus built by piled stones.

The place is historic and the landscape is unique.
