Piri Reis is a very respected and well-known navigator in the Ottoman Empire. He toured the seas to the east and west. He has waged war with the Portuguese even in the Indian Ocean. There is a small museum in his honor in the castle tower next to the port.

I think this small museum on the beach is in the bastion of the castle. This old-storey building is well-utilized. It is a bit dark because of the lack of windows and narrow and high stairs like in the castles. It is not a museum, but definitely go to this region and especially to the tea garden next to it. It is very nice, this is the center. You can go everywhere from here. The museum is not necessary but what else do you have to do? The chief statue, some private museums, always close to this area. The next region is the nose. So, the flag grandfather-azepler mosque-lantern nose. The next must be the Hamzakoy beach-mevlevihane.
