Lovely spot easily reached by bus. Had the place to myself apart from the gate guard. Free entry. Sign boards are in Turkish and English but translation not always very clear. I hadn't realised that Homer may have been born at nearby Colophon/Notion.

A pleasant 20 min. drive from Selcuk, well sign posted & easy to find . Free entry & parking (Dec 19). An important oracular temple in its day. Plenty to see for a small site. With remains of the ancient city of Notion 5 mins. drive away on the coast it's a great place for history lovers.

Who would go visit this old pile of rocks? I would! Cuz it's awesome! The ruins of the Temple of clarius Apollo. There's a whole city here that is yet to be Unearthed. But meanwhile, there are some pretty cool structures, statues, columns and such to see from many Millennia ago.
