I recommend you to see one of the rare educational places in Aksaray that smells history from the past to the present.

Zinciriye Madrasa is thought to have been built in Aksaray in 1337 during the reign of Sultan Mirza Halil Bey during the Karamanoğulları period, which dominated the region, even in a short time. The madrasah was able to survive with rich foundation revenues. Although the income of the madrasah decreased in the first quarter of the XVI century, it increased again at the end of this century. There may be two main reasons for the decline in the income of the foundation, which are determined from the homepage books. One of these is the decline in grain production and the decrease in population, which occurred due to drought and famine in these years. The madrasah, which continued its activities until the last periods of the Ottoman State, started to be used as a prison in 1940. A new museum building was built and the works here were moved to this new museum building. In 1997, Zinciriye Madrasa was restored in accordance with its original by the General Directorate of Foundations and was used as an entertainment venue for a while but now it is empty. Zinciriye Madrasa can be a very beautiful culture and art center in Aksaray, which is far behind in terms of cultural and artistic activities. In this regard, the city's leaders must take steps. THANKS!

It has survived until today in its enormous size and original form. It was closed naturally because of the night we passed, but I did not know what it was used for ...
