The building on the left of Giresun Square is a mosque built by philanthropists who survived after many renovations. The mosque is made of cut stone and the architecture of the mezzanine is unique.nIf we look at the history, the mosque was first built by Hacı Miktad Ağa in 1661 (H.1072), and it was repaired by Hacı Çalık Kapudan in 1841 (H. 1257) and the current mosque was built by Hacı İsmail Efendi in 1889 (H.1307). It was built in place of the old mosque.
