The Nusret mine ship, anchored in the Çanakkale Naval Museum, is closed like a museum, with the excuse of a pandemic. However, as far as I know, it is not the original, the prototype is already. The real Nusret bought the Tarsus municipality while it is being sold and is displayed in a park. .

Nusret was a commissioned ship in the Ottoman Navy since 1913, which served as a miner during the Gallipoli Campaign and developed a fundamental role in the Dardanelles by laying mines in the strait during February 1915. Over the years it developed various activities and finally in 1989 it sank near the port of Mersin, remaining submerged for 10 years.nIn 1999 it was rescued by a group of volunteers and in 2002 it was acquired by the municipality for its reconstruction on land as a museum ship, opening in 2008 in the facilities of a cultural park located in the city of Tarsus, Mersin province.nThe ship on display in the Çanakkale Military Museum is a 1: 1 scale replica built in Istanbul. On board you can see photos and plans that describe the history of this important warship.
