Museum of Anatolian Civilizations

This is is not the largest archaeological museum in the world but the collection is breathtaking, especially the Hittite artifacts. It has also a very nice garden with antiquities. It’s my favoriete place in Ankara.

Its a good museum if you are into ancient civilization... its small, only 1 building to explore. It was not really a place of interest...nnBut am glad they restored the building, good job, bravo.nnCost of entry = 45 TL.

Amazing heritage of Anatolia is in display in the Museum, various objects and the museum itself historic. Garden looks like a park but still ok. staff kind enough, entrance fee was 48 if I m not wrong. (Museum staff corrected me) But worth to see. Thanks

Amazing museum full of great ANE artifacts. I was thinking it'd be a little larger, but it has great content. The average museum goer can go through it in about 45 minutes to an hour. The ANE lover can spend several hours.
