Unmissible.nnUnfortunately every winter sends the rock figurines into further destruction - moisture enters the cracks, freezes and further splits the rock.nnTo my knowledge it's difficult if not impossible to get up there in winter. Be sure to listen out for the ageless silence. If you go as a tour you'll be taken up before dawn.nnThe king is buried under thousands of tonnes of loose rock making any kind of entry close to impossible.nnYou could probably spend a few years in Turkey and never see everything.

A long, winding drive up, followed by a short climb (beware of snow & ice!) You are rewarded to see the very first garden gnomes ;) I will definitely go back when it's warmer.

Incredible place!nBetter to go in the morning, cause we realized that there are other spots to visit in this area, but it was late already

The unsafe passage towards the climb, slippery snow surface, one wrong move you will be 1000 feet down of not more. They should clean the walk paths or at least install some holding ropes. Do not risk visiting this place unless you are travelling at the peak of the summer with no snow around the walk paths..
