The museum is really good, interactive and informative, but the staff at the entrance is a bit impolite and they take your passport and don't give it back to you until you leave, even though I asked for it.

I visited today and could not be any happier! I literally felt home, staff were extremely attentive. Had the pleasure to talk with Mr. Robert (I think) and exchanged a lot of information. The museum itself presents wonderful artifacts and very rare but worthy information. Aside from that, personally I felt home being surrounded by environment I grew up in. I will definitely visit again and hopefully Neve Shalom will be open in the near future. Definitely a must! See you soon!

Great to understand the history of Jewish people in Turkey. Everything is translated in English inside.nnThe museum mostly presents the good parts of the life of Jewish people in modern day Turkey. For instance I didn't see anything about Varlık Vergisi: the wealth tax levied on Jewish citizens that led to emigration.

Nice museum that tells the history of the saphardic jews. Unfortunately due the Corona virus the synagogue is closed. But it's worth to visit the museum

It’s quite nice place to visit and it’s generally informative.nHowever, entering this museum is very hectic and isn’t a pleasant experience..! You have to hand your ID, get searched with metal detectors as if you are entering an airport.. then a huge, black steel door is opened.. to be honest, that was a little creepy..! But once you get through this unpleasant journey, you can find a lot of interesting and informative exhibits.nNote: it’s quite a small museum.
