Kilistra Ancient City. It is located in a small village of Meram. You understand that you have arrived in the ancient city when you see the sign, there are not many signboards on the road. The ancient city seems to have been abandoned to its fate ... The caves that were carved were full of traces of barbecue and garbage, so they hit a lock. There is no information letter, but it can be a place like Cappadocia if given the opportunity. When you go to the ancient city, both the view and the carved rocks are worth seeing.

There are no guiding signs in the village. We came all the way back without seeing anything. Setting up directional signs shouldn't be that hard. Although we have such a rich heritage in the natural and cultural field, it is very sad that we cannot display these beauties correctly.

It is the favorite ancient city on the trade route of the early Byzantine period. The carved rocky city in Kilistra, which was once called the center of attraction, has lost its charm and has been abandoned after centuries. Later, when the big animals such as mule and horse cow joined in these carved chambers, its name changed as Mule Ini. Although this practice has been abandoned recently, the required attention is not paid to the carved ancient rock city. When you go, you will realize that the landscaping is not done and that there are no proper roads and signs. Despite everything, it is worth visiting
