Plenty of information and a small museum. The two gate areas of the ancient castle wall have had extensive restoration and research. I particularly liked the basaltic stone carvings and the work that was performed to repair the lion sculptures which had been smashed to pieces.

Karatepe Aslantaş will not be erased from my memory until I die. It is perfect as a national park. It is the most important place in Osmaniye. It is a very big, dam lake, a picnic area, a very nice recreation area with a very, very low fee, there were many in the arrivals. An open air museum was built inside the park 1.5 km, going from the right and coming from the left. Initially a closed small artifacts and information museum, then we set off. The works are usually 3-4,000 years old. Generally the late Hittite period. The name Aslantaş is taken from the abundant processing of the lions on the stones. In Konya, the Hittite Eflatun fountain monument, the entrance to the museum in Osmaniye are always lion sculptures. Hittites have spoiled the head with a lion. Either sculpture or carving. I saw the lion, I say hello, Hittite, automatically. It was a wall. Probably the palaces should have always worked like this. I liked it very much. Only most of them are in the open air. These embroidered, carved stone walls and sculptures are the oldest in history, the first ruling civilization of Anatolia. They belong to meat, that is, invaluable, they will be destroyed in time outside. This is thought. There is a lot of frost in Osmaniye.
