Good place to wander round and read about the history of the city. Information boards are in Turkish, English and French. Very cheap to get in. Allow about 90 minutes. Some good photo opportunities. Good location to then head into the market for a bite to eat.

Incredible masonry workmanship on the wall, still standing for centuries. Running water from the original pipes is a bonus!

It was a stunning location to visit Ancient years. From my point of view, that ancient city is a pearl of Konak because you can find many ancient ruins in that location and you can realise ancient people's life. One day if you visit İzmir you should go to see that location, however tourists should know some problems about that location. First of all, you have to walk to Agora to see and when you walk to that location you should keep safe yourself because many immigrants are living in that location and you can be disturbed them. You can not find any shop in that area but you can find a small store inside. Unless you are not exhausted and hungry you can walk easily.nMany employee have been working to find new ancient ruins and they try to show all of them to us. Every year that museum is being changed and I think each year it seems to be perfect.
