Hatay, the cradle of all religions, civilizations, races and prehistoric times, is also home to the St. Simon monastery in Samandağ. There is a stone-parquet road that goes left at the junction, shortly before going down to Samdag. The magnificent parquet road has been built, it continues up to the hill. It is also obvious that it is a very important monastery. We felt like it. That's why I say definitely SEE this monastery. It is obvious that it is very important. It is very large, very comprehensive, very complex. Urban as much as the Monastery of Mut Alahan. There is no need. It is an ancient city. You have to see it.
