Yunus Emre Complex and TombnnThe Yunus Emre Museum in Eskişehir Mihalıçcık district was opened to visitors by the Ministry of Culture in 1974.nnThe grave of Yunus Emre, who was in Eskişehir in the 13th century, was destroyed during the Greek occupation, and a new tomb was built by moving behind a fountain built in 1949. This tomb XIII. The tomb sarcophagus decorated with rumi and palmetto was connected to each other with arches and was placed in the middle of the open-sided mausoleum with eight columns.nnHe added a culture house, mosque and fountain in 1982 to the location of this mausoleum. At the same time, a statue of Yunus Emre was placed here. In the museum established in the Culture House, books introducing Yunus Emre and plaques containing the quatrains of Yunus Emre were exhibited. Here, there are architectural pieces remaining from Yunus Emre's first tomb and some ethnographic works.

Be sure to visit this great Anatolian guardian. It has a great spiritual atmosphere. The exhibition place was closed when we went but it's great to just see the grave and even pray.
