ud83dudd18Aphrodisiasud83dudd18n⚪Aphrodisias was a small ancient Greek Hellenistic city in the historic Caria cultural region of western Anatolia, Turkey.n❤Aphrodisias was named after Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love.n⚪The city wasnfounded in the 3rd century BCE and flourished under the Roman Empire (1st c. BC - 4th c. AD).n⚪Today the ruins include a Tetrapylon, or monumental gate, the foundations of the Temple of Aphrodite, the Christian bishop’s palace, a beautiful marble odeon (small theater) in excellent condition, and a stadium still capable of seating nearly its original capacity of 30,000 spectators.n⚪Also Marble sculptures and sculptors from Aphrodisias became famous in the Roman world and The city had notable schools for sculpture.n⚪In 2017 it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site list.

Passing in front of it on the way to Aydın.Please turn your route to the ancient city of Aphrodisias. It is a magnificent ancient city, like Milet. I gave you a red bulletin. Of course, you should see every part of the ancient city one by one, its temples, stadium, bath, museum, ancient city, theater. I definitely give a VIEW for the ancient city of Aphrodisias. Karacasu is very mysterious. There are Turkish artifacts. The region has been very important since ancient times.

My personal opinion is that it is more impressive than Ephesus. The first of the remaining stadiums can be the stadium that hosts most of them. Both the indoor museum and the excavation area are intertwined. It is definitely not an ancient city, especially if you go and visit.nMuseum card: validnParking: There is enoughnDining nearby

It is a perfect place where you can reach a result of about 200 km from Antalya and I really think this way. The museum and ancient city are really fascinating. When Ara Güler goes to take pictures, he discovers by chance. The first sculptural school in history. We set off from Antalya in the morning and reached the ancient city after a pleasant journey. At the entrance, you leave your car in the car park and pay 5 TL. From here they carry it free up to the entrance with a tractor. We used our museum cards for entrance or you need to pay 15 TL. It took us around 2-2.5 hours to visit the city and the museum, it was a little tiring but very enjoyable with my two daughters aged 2 and 6.nThere is a small place inside, I say, do not shop for your small needs and souvenirs but without asking the price, the prices were above what they should have been. I recommend you to evaluate the weather conditions. We were there at the beginning of April and we could travel very comfortably, but you can have a hard time with your children in the extreme heat. In general, we left very satisfied, it is definitely a place to be seen.
