I just flew across the world from Arizona, USA to Istambul for a third rhinoplasty as surgeons in the USA destroyed my nose. I have been chatting with Dr. Oguz before I arrived as well as three other surgeons. I met with Dr. Oguz in person as well as the the other three surgeons. I chose to go with Dr. Oguz for the following reasons: 1. His Instagram account has unfiltered  "after" photos showing realistic results. The other surgeons post heavily filtered photos and a filtered photo is deceitful as it doesn't show the truth. Please don't believe the filtered photos surgeons post on their Instagram. Before and after photos should be taken in exactly the same lighting conditions. At least Dr. Oguz doesn't post filtered photos so his results are more believable. 2. Dr. Oguz' results on his Instagram are impressive. Even though I do not love all of his results (as is the case with any other surgeon), most of them are very impressive and show that Dr. Oguz has a good eye for creating nice harmony on the face with the right nose. In many cases, the patients are completely transformed in a beautiful way with their new nose. 3. His age was right for me. I knew if I went with an older, established surgeon that maybe he wouldn't have the endurance to try hard or long in the operating room or wouldn't care so much if he has already established a good reputation. At 37 years old, Dr. Oguz already has some experience under his belt but also is still working on his reputation. 4. Communication with Dr. Oguz is smooth and to the point. Dr. Oguz speaks English very well. Dr. Oguz is extremely accessible. I messaged him directly as opposed to going through an assistant and received a prompt reply. 5. During my consultation I got the feeling that Dr. Oguz takes pride in his work and even enjoys it. I also really liked him as a person. He spent a good amount of time with me and the consultation didn't feel rushed. I felt that he was listening to me and acknowledged everything I had to say. He knew what I didn't like about my nose because he described in detail better than I could. 6. He gave me a very good price. 7. I liked the hospital he operates at, Baypark Hospital. The hospital is in a calm neighborhood and also inside it is very calm as well. The staff are friendly and it is clean inside. Baypark is also easy to get to on public transportation; easy one tram and one bus from Sultanahmet where I was staying. 8. I contacted 4-5 other patients who were all very happy. AFTER SURGERY: On the day of surgery we met in the morning one last time. I got the impression that he spent some time thinking about my nose because it felt like before a football game when a coach tells the players the strategy for the game. Dr. Oguz told me that the goal is for him to build me a strong tip. The surgery ended up lasting 6.5 hours! Yes, I was getting upper eyelid surgery as well as a little double chin lipo with the revision rhinoplasty but those other procedures are simple and are typically done under local anesthesia. My nose apparently was very damaged inside from previous surgery and Dr. Oguz said that out of 4000 rhinoplasties that he performed, mine was in the top three in difficulty. I had a really nice recovery room and I stayed in the hospital two nights instead of the typical one night. I was not charged extra for that and it wasn't a problem. Dr. Oguz finished my surgery at 9:30 PM and the next day he came to my recovery room four times to see how I was doing; he knew I was a woman that came to Istambul alone. I felt well cared for and the nurses were nice too. The hospital food was also good, soft and easy to eat. I am only on day 11 post surgery and still have tape on my nose for a few more days but I have seen my nose and it looks excellent. If this nose stays like this then I definitely got a good result and I am so grateful that Dr. Oguz didn't give up on me in the operating room and gave 100% effort to make sure it comes out right. Hello, I have been asking for rhinoplasty for years and could not decide because of the stories told. Then our paths crossed with Oğuzhan Bey. I had a very successful operation on November 8, 2019 with a calm and comforting attitude. My pain was just a very thin ache on the first day, which is very normal and I would like to point out that I am a migraine patient with lightning in the eye. I had no problems afterwards. Never believe those who say you will die and faint while the tampons are removed, nothing a second and no pain. On top of all this, nobody understands that it is aesthetical without saying it is even more beautiful :) Hello all, I've been thinking about nose surgery for many years and I was unsure until I met Oğuzhan Oğuz. He made me feel so comfortable by giving every detail and seemed so relax. I had the surgery on 8th November 2019 and had no pain. It was a slightly headache since I have migraine. I had no problem since then. I'd recommend him highly because of his attitude towards patients and you can tell he really loves his job. So why wait? DO IT! :)

It has been a full 1 year since the surgery and all my complaints before the surgery did not remain after the surgery, it is not as difficult as you feared.
