Gulluk Mountain Termessos National Park

This is one of the most stunning ancient sites of the whole Anatolian region. Everything here seemed to have been build to see inspire its visitors and inhabitants, and the site is so well preserved somehow, that imaging how life might have been here is not so difficult. The amphitheater is situated on a cliff face, and to this day retains amazing sound acoustics. Standing in the middle of where the actors would have performed, or at the very top as a spectator, offers amazing insights into some of the genius of these buildings and times. A must do visit for anyone passing by Antalya.

One of the best hikes I had in TR, great experience among the ancient remains.nnBe sure to bring hiking shoes and dress, enough food and water.nAnd spare at least half a day to see all around.

Beautiful area, untouched by archaeologists till now. Absolutely stunning view at amphitheater, one of the best I've seen.nCould be a little hard to get there at hot weather, long walk uphill and stones.

Just getting a glimpse of that amazing amphitheater is worth the trip to Termessos!

Great place, if you want to take a walk in the forrest and see the amfitheatre on the hill, in amazing composition with the mountain at the back of it.
