Şuhut is in the district center. It was built for our soldiers who were martyred in the War of Independence. On August 26, 1922, the Turkish officers and soldiers who were wounded and sick during the Great Offensive and the previous battles were brought to Şuhut and the first treatments were made in the Grand Mosque which is in use today and the good ones were sent back to the front. The martyrs were buried in the cemeteries around the current Demirciler Bazaar. Later, he was transferred to the land which is still used as a martyrdom and in 1971 a small pyramidal monument was built on his memoirs and the inscription of Aziz Aziz Martyrs of Independence War yazılmış was written on it.
