Hilton Garden Inn Istanbul Golden Horn Turkey

Nice hotel, staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is kinda outside the busy touristy area of Istanbul, and the views from the room were amazing! My husband and I really enjoyed it, would definitely recommend to family and friends. Hopefully will be returning in the future!!! ud83dude01

You can hear the cars driving by from the motorway along the Golden Horn. The shower emits a sewage smell due to the piping issue. You get what you paid for. Lunch was good and fairly priced. I am glad I can open the window and get a nice breeze. No complaints about the staff. They are all very nice and helpful.

One of the best hotels on the European side of Istanbul! Super clean and everything is constantly being sanitized.nnView from the room is the Golden Horde and you can reach it within a 2-3 minute walk.nnThe Resturaunt is open for breakfast but closed for dinner, but you can walk down the hill and to the left where there are restaurants along the street.nnSpecial thanks to Chef Serkan and Miss Chef Fizil for the amazing turkish breakfast every morning.nnMr. Nazmi for always making sure we are taken care of and Mr. Mesut for serving us & Mr. Barat.nnLast of all the supervisor Mr. Furkan and Miss Sema who personally handles everything to make sure our stay was enjoyable.nnAnd all the other staff who I didn’t get their names but were fantastic in their turkish hospitality.nnDefinitely a resort, not just a hotel.

Staff:nRude staff both day & night shift receptionists were rude. The lady who checked us in believed herself to be better than us because of her behaviour we shortened our stay with them to 1 night instead of 5 nights. Also the male receptionist who checked us out was more concerned in us putting the Key/cards back in the box then to ask us about the stay or to explain me when I would be refunded the extra money they like to hold from your credit card when you stay there.nnRoom Rates:nSimple google search on google maps was showing room rates from 250TL. I showed the online prices to the receptionist and her response was to book online then. I tried booking online and every time I tried booking online their website crashed, so I ended up paying 1000TL for 2 rooms.nnCleanliness:nRooms were nice and clean.nnBreakfast:nWas ok but not worth the money they charged for it and it wasn’t even included in the room price.

Location:nThe view from the room is stunning but the area of the hotel is far from the tourists main attractions.nnCleaning:nIt's clean mostly.nnStaff:nI honestly didn't feel much welcomed as its very hard to see someone smiling at you, not the reception not the restaurant or any other place in the hotel.nnRoom service:nI order food regularly and not happy with the room service at all. the food is not tasty and if i ask for anything extra they say ok but they don't bring it. (i don't mind paying for it). Another incident where i ordered the food and i didn't receive it for an hour so i called back to find out that they have forgotten about the order.  many times the food came without a cover plate on the main course!!nnRestaurant:nI didn't like the food, i didn't like the chief who doesn't speak English and made me one of the worst omelette I have ever eaten.nnI'm quiet disappointed and certainly not recommending the hotel to anyone.
