Panorama 1453 History Museum

Just an amazing and Awesome experience! One of must see places of Istanbul! The huge 360° panoramic view of the battle that gives the feeling of travelling back in time to 1453 to see the battle of Istanbul conquering by Sultan Muhammed Al-Fatih. Wonderful sounds and display of battle. The art work is fabulous and they used the actual cannons and weapons that used in the battle! It is recommended to read the posters before entering the dome to fully understand the whole story. Highly recommended!

It gives you the opportunity to relive through the conquest of Istanbul. It gives the feeling of travelling back in time to 1453 and see the military brilliance and magnificence. The stairs leading up into the dome is the most magical thing I have felt in a very long time as you emerge from the darkness of the staircase smack in the middle of the war ground. I would recommend that you also get the headphone piece which gives you extra information on the goings on of the battlefield. It is amazing how they have paid attention to such intricate details. All in all it was an amazing experience and would definitely recommend it. However try not to look at any of the pictures before you get there as it would spoil the surprise.
