Sadık Pasha Mansion

Sadık Pasha House is an “Historcial Monument”  in Emirgan, on the Bosphorus, built by Oral in accordance of Historical Commission permit. Located in a quiet part of the affluent neighborhood of Cihangir, this wooden neoclassical palazzo was built in the nineteenth century by a Polish emigre, Michal Czajkowski, who was sent to Istanbul to establish a colony for his asylum-seeking compatriots.

The museum seems to be closed.As said in previous comments, I am a tradesman in its close vicinity, I have not seen it open for 1 year.

After a long search for the museum, which is open according to Google, disappointed for a closed door! There are chains with locks on the door and barbed wire on the gates. Local residents that I asked about the museum didn't even know there was / was a museum !!!

The building from the outside is certainly beautiful but old and hardly encourages the visit ... we thought it was permanently closed
