Çiya Sofrası

It is located on the Asian side of Istanbul in Kadikoy. It was highly recommended by a local who told us about the food. Once we found it we could not stop eating. The place focuses on regional dishes from all over Turkey. The dishes we tried were from multiple backgrounds and ethnicity. It was very delicious and probably the best I have tested so far in Turkey. The service was excellent and the manager was very helpful at explaining the different foods. This place had many locals and the dishes are made daily. It was also not expensive and we were able to order many dishes. This is a place when you can try many different dishes in one place. It is a must in Istanbul!!!!!!

My favorite restaurant in Istanbul! Unique recipes, extremely delicious food, all made with care and love. A must see cultural heritage . Love Çiya sofrası. 5 stars!

I have tried the cherry kebab and the pumpkin dessert.nBoth were very delicious. Never thought that a combination of cherries and meat would be this amazing.nmy mother makes very tasty pumpkin desserts, but I dream of the ones from Ciya !nYou have to try this, if you like pumpkin.

Çiya sofrası, which is in the opposite side of Çiya Kebab is one of the best places in Istanbul if you really want to taste Anatolian kitchen. For years I only eat there and today I decided to give a shot to their kebab restaurant which is in front. After one hour of waiting and asking 3 times to the waiter about my order the only thing I could eat was the pide bread. No apologies no explanation. So I don’t know how’s the food but I can definitely say that service is awful.
