Being in this old fashioned leather manufacturing factory make me understand changing the industry such fast in very short time. Today's industry can't be compared with the industry 50 years ago.nThis leather manufacturing factory owner family stops the production in 2017 and keeping the all machines as well as last leather products there for us to see all the steps for getting clean leather from raw. Last two generations are still alive and there to explain each step of process and also their remarkable stories. They don't charge for going inside, visiting and listening the story. So please buy few %100 leather products they are selling to support them also sit down on their balcony and try their traditional borek(pastry) and hosmerim(dessert) which you can't find anywhere in Safranbolu.nnFollow me on instagram @mybusinesstrips and see more from all over the world

An interesting place that must be seen. İsmail Bey, who gave us information in the museum, has done this job and is very knowledgeable about it. One cannot come across with such a beautiful expression and kindness everywhere. When you come to Safranbolu, it is not possible to stop here.

It is one of the must-see places in Safranbolu. I would also like to thank Ömer Bey for his detailed explanation and hospitality about this distinguished profession of our history.

A place where you can best understand that Safranbolu is an important city in our history is visited free of charge with a guide, you can buy souvenirs and leather products to ensure that these historical artifacts are passed on to our generations.
