a must visit place.. nothing fancy or jaw dropping.. it's just beautiful, interesting and informative. well run by the Turkish Armed forces. 1 hour should be enough to complete the trip. No car parking is allowed inside but there's a paid roadside parking space 100 m away to the entry gate, run by dark faced bashibozuk dudes but it's OK.

It is said in the museum website that it was open. It was not. Several people went there and there was a guard saying it was closed due to the pandemic. Bad service.

The Çanakkale Naval Museum, located in the anakkale Çimenlik Castle, is home to the sacred heritage of the Çanakkale struggle. It is a military museum because it is attached to the Navy. An important value like the Mausoleum Museum. For this reason, after visiting the places of the Gallipoli war and our saint martyrs, you should take the road to Çimenlik Castle. The most important place to visit in Çanakkale is after the martyrdom.nn1915 The museum was built in 1982, considering the lack of a complex that would keep the spirit of struggle alive and explain the spirit of struggle to future generations. There is a large park within the museum which covers a large area where you can relax. Çimenlik Castle, a beautiful model of the Nusrat mine ship, dozens of paintings and photos depicting the Dardanelles war, the library, weapons used in the war, bullets, military clothes and many legacies describing that day are included.nnYou can get the souvenir of Çanakkale in the souvenir building in the museum. There is also a specialized library of the Battle of Çanakkale. Here you can read the works you have not previously read about Canakkale, you can buy if you wish?nnContent TitlesnnÇanakkale Naval Museum Visiting Hours and Entrance FeenWhere is Çanakkale Naval Museum?nÇanakkale Naval Museum Visiting Hours and Entrance FeenThe museum is always open, except on Mondays and Thursdays, for our nation to visit. It is possible to visit the museum from 9 to 17. On average, you can visit the entire museum within an hour. But for people like me who pay attention to too much detail, this time is approaching 2 hours.nnIf you can make your trip to Çanakkale between the week of Museums, 18-24 May, you have the chance to enter the museum free of charge. Teachers' Week, April 23 week, Tourism week, August 30 Victory Day, November 10, 18 March Çanakkale Week, such as the entrance to the museum free of charge.nnMuseum entrance fee: 6 TL. Nusret Mine Ship is included in the entrance fee. The museum card is invalid. Students etc. age discounts are available.nnSymbol of Nusret Çanakkale StrugglennAs you know, in the spring of 1915, the enemy troops calculated to cross the Dardanelles with their powerful and modern warships. In the face of this situation, our troops, the dark harbor called the Erenköy mine has been ordered to pour out. Tophaneli Hakkı Bey stripped from enemy projectors and laid the dark mines with Nusret. Although the British made naval expeditions, they could not see these mines and their attempts to cross Çanakkale with the navy resulted in frustration.nnYou will hear more about this story in the Nusret Minesweeper section. With a digital presentation and panels, visitors are told about the heroism of the Çanakkale struggle. Nusret Mine Ship also provides a number of technical information about. After the Nusret Mine Ship you can go to the Canakkale Wars library. Many foreign and domestic resources are offered to visitors in this library.

Turkey as part of our tour we visited the naval museum we came to the dardanelles on 16/08/2019. The museum is generally nice but the staff on the ship are rude and indifferent, none of them speaks english, no problem but indifferent. The souvenir shop’s staff gave detailed information about museum and turks history in english. Generally likedd

Great museum. With a very beautiful park. Definitely visit this place. A gift shop present nearby the entrance gate, between the conference hall. The park is free of charge to enter. The ticket booth at the entrance sells the tickets for the castle and the ship.
