Troya Müzesi ( Museum of Troy)

A great museum housing lots of finds from Troy - including some amazing gold jewellery - as well as treasure from other parts of Turkey to give some context. Everything was well labelled and nicely presented. There's also a section telling the legendary story as presented by Homer. It's the ideal finish to a visit to the neighbouring ruins where you can see where they found the items on display and should be included as free time for those on tours.

Great museum. Nearly everything is great. İ recommend you to go to terrace and take a look around, try to imagine battles how the see would look like back then how would they live there. This way you not only learn you will feel it too

This museum was literally above my expectations. 2 - 3 hours would be enough to see everything in the museum. You might prefer to start to explore the museum from the top floor to entrance floor.nn+ there is no any cafeteria in the museum so please be sure that you ate something before the museum.

Great display of artifacts from the 10 cities of Troy. Be sure to go to the 3rd floor, large figures and a sarcophagus.
