We strolled through a downward sloped street in this quaint town, and had delicious Taiwanese food (sausages, meatball soup, steamed sticky rice, ice cream pancakes) and this children even played a little pachinko. I would return here some time.
nice short trip after hike(several hiking trails around here) ! you can even send international postcard here, that is awesome to share the moment with your friends who live far away from you!

It's ok. Scenic but not much to do.
the place is really nice to see the old culture, some remote area from the second world War. the main activity there is latern and there is a latern festival there after the Chinese new year, also there is a mountain 孝子山 (Mt. Xiaozi) so if you like hiking, you can go there. in addition, you can try some local and cheap food. the place is far from the MRT so you need to use the other public transportation.
