The employees were unhelpful and unwilling to accommodate me because I cannot write Chinese. They made me sit and wait for 30 minutes just to tell me that I need to go home and practice writing in Chinese to be able to open a credit card. This was no only insulting but is also discrimination. When I told them that other foreign friends of mine had opened credit card accounts with Citibank in Taipei they told me I should rather go to Taipei then. I am not happy with my experience and I do not recommend using Citibank as it is obvious that the discriminate against foreigners...especially the branch in Zhongli. No wonder they’ve only got a 2 star rating on google maps.

Worst customer service I’ve seen since I’m in Taiwan.I told them that I need to open a bank account, lady asked me if I already have account in Taiwan to other banks, I told her that I do.And she asked me with a bad attitude: then why did you come to Citi bank ? Bad attitude for an international bank worker.Well it’s easy to get those jobs so their attitude is the same as the education they got...Even at the night market you get a better service haha! Poor service!

Very bad, unprofessional and arrogant attitude, she said if I don’t have 3 4 millions, I don’t really have to open account from citi bank.
