YOHO Beach Resort

Super nice pools my kids loved it. Staff was very nice and helpful. This property has a small private beach full of hermit crabs! Very suitable for kids to play. To stay here you need a car to access other beaches and touristic spots.nnI think if the owners update the property it would be a very nice alternative to other high end hotels around the area.

Great hotel and friendly staff. Our two kids enjoyed the water pool a lot, and also playing at the beach. One side of the hotel is the Mountain View, and the other is the ocean, one cannot ask for more for a relaxing holiday. Front desk personnel Jackson was friendly with our kids, and helped us with info around the area. Highly recommended .

This place uses the cheapest everything. If Management doesn't improve the quality of basics, this resort will be lucky to still be open in 2025. Toilet paper so thin your fingers fall through. Shampoo and hand wash so cheap, it feels like an industrial cleaner for a farm. Room locks need replacing, ours broke twice while there. Food: paid $250/day for included breakfast, but only 4 terrible cooked choices so have to eat in their buffet. This costs an extra $200, so breakfast works out $450 for the cheapest food. For example, the ham is so cheap, there is no fruit in it, just chemicals. Second issue is closed facilities. I booked as wanted a room with a sea view. They have 5, all empty, but refuse to open them as it would need extra staff to clean them, so the sea view block remains closed. 2 pools are also closed as is the water slide into an empty pool. The rooftop of the buffet restaurant with sea views is also closed. Even the beach is closed!!! Some things are just plain dangerous like nails sticking up in the floorboards near the fish ponds. All this is very sad as it could be a lovely resort. See photos

We plan a mini vacation before our child return to school. We like the friendly staff and atmosphere. It's always welcoming to hear live music as your checking in or just walking through the lobby. They have alot of swimming pools but sadly must of them are closed. I noticed since our last visit, certain shops and their massage spa have been closed or moved to another location. I did notice that they try any have some sort of activities for children to keep them entertained. We liked their breakfast buffet because of different items to choose from and especially since they change the menu daily. My only issue is they need to work on their CAPEX and keep maintaining their property as certain areas look old and need a refresh. Other than that we will be returning soon.

Super friendly stuff, Great service, Great live music. Great experience with the deers, great breakfast with a beautiful ocean view. HOWEVER the hotel is outdated, some part are kinda smelly, rooms are a bit dark and a bit dirty, mold in the bathroom and pool areas. pool area will be closed for 3 hours between the day, will be better is they do the maintenance in the morning 7am, or before, then people can enjoy the whoke day even night time. food is expensive, will be nice if they offer local food at reasonable prices.
