Hsinchu Guandi Temple

Really beautiful and gorgeous temple. It was amazing to visit it. A lot of lights and Taiwan symbols. So beautiful inside and even there is a small area with trees. Beautiful architecture and amazing atmosphere. I didn't see anything similar in the Europe.

The Taoist Temple is interesting, but of greater interest (for me) was the surrounding maze of alleys and shops, hawking everything from shoes to fish to fabrics. Note: watch out that you don't get run over by a moped or car; pedestrian-dedicated sidewalks a rarity.
