Larue Lalu is a small hill located in the center of Sun Moon Lake in Nantou County, Taiwan. During the Qing Dynasty, it was called Zhuyu, Zhuzishan, and Zhutan Fuyu. During the Japanese Occupation, it was called Jade Island and Water Island. After the war, it was renamed Guanghua Island by the Kuomintang government, and the residents around Sun Moon Lake used to call it Zhuzi Mountain. Later, because of the "New Partnership Treaty between Indigenous Peoples and the New Taiwan Government", the current name in the aboriginal language was restored. Wikipedia
