Refused to open an account for me as I am not a Taiwanese citizen despite meeting more than all the requirements shown on their website. I was told my name is too long and the staff did not want to find a solution until we argued with them. They did not even want to print a ticket for me to wait claiming they don't help foreigners. Blatant and obvious discrimination. Still refused to open an account after waiting 5 hours and arguing for 1 as my ARC is up for renewal even though their website clearly states an ARC is not a requirement to open an account.

I was already kind of skeptical going here during my lunch break cuz of the reviews. But surprisingly i received a good and timely service.

Before opening an account, I had already made an appointment through the Internet. As a result, the bank had to wait until the door was closed at noon. This efficiency is really scary! Then, I don’t know what is the effect of online booking, and I have to wait a long time? I don't know why it takes such an ridiculously long time for China Trust to open an account?nToday, we are doing some business again. Nearly 30 customers are waiting, and there are only 3 specialists at the counter! Just look at other commissioners coming in and out, the counter has been maintained at three, can't the supervisor of CITIC dispatch manpower to support the counter depending on the on-site situation? Really dumbfounded!

Today at 9:05 I called to Fengyuan branch to ask about things. Press 9 to transfer the switchboard and I was hung up. I thought it was the bank staff who accidentally pressed it and called again. I didn’t expect to be hooked up to 3 calls, Fengyuan branch. Clerks really need to be re-educated...
